Difference between Barclays Capital and Barclays Wealth

Barclays Capital is more focus on corporate finance, like raising capital for corporations (ie. underwritting IPOs or bonds), M&A,and financial advisory.

Barclays Wealth is doing asset management for their global clients just like a fund manager to allocate the best portfolio.

We can roughly say it is the difference between buyside & sellside in IB, although Barclays Capital also engages in some extent of buyside.
