[面试] 27/06/2016-KPMG 英国UK-TELEPHONE INTERVIEW-TECHNOLOGY DELIVERY

时间很短,压力很大,因为此前败在PWC的电面,总结出来是回答的方式太过generalized,因此特地找了KPMG的CAREER ADVISOR给我提前做了三个SESSION的练习。但是在真正面试的时候,还是有一到两个问题答的不够好,我都快焦虑成神经病了这几天!!!

废话不多说,看题:

1. Delivery Quality
Describe a project you are proud of.
How did you ensure quality?(这个问题很重要。是我最失败的问题,如果FAIL了就是这里断了链子。根据KPMG的描述,这里应该听到的是一个structured way of doing things; planning time well; keep track of progress这三点)我大概只提到第3点。突然被问到一个这么general的问题,有点方。之前准备的time management什么的忘了说。摔!
Scenario: You got 4 projects at hand. 1) Data Analysis that due within 1 week 2) A long term project without details yet 3) Employee Development Programme什么的。。(这个没听清楚我特别重问了一下,还是没听清楚。。反正跟其他帖子的差不多啦)4. Your Own study for exam

Follow up: What are the biggest challenge?


2. Resilience
Describe a set back you encountered in your project and how you ovecame it.
What would you have done differently?
Scenario: Angry Customer. You were asked to collect data from client's company yet their employees were reluctant to provide details your manager is with you though. In the meeting with Client, your client is not happy about some of the data insufficiency and you think he fail to see the big picture. What would you do?

My answer: 1. Listen. This shows my respect. Understand the client's real concern
                  2. Reflect on my work. Try to find the gap between my work and his expectation
                  3. Remind him that the data insufficieny problem is a result of the reluctance of the client's colleagues reluctance to provide details -----Say it in a deplomatic way  (这里有一个FOLLOW UP: What would you say? 所以,要准备的非常具体具体才行。具体到你说了什么 .当时我说的不好。结巴了。。大意是如果客户能够提供相关细节数据,这个报告会做的更好,我们需要更紧密的合作来解决问题)
                  4. Raise this matter to a higher level if that is out of my capability. e.g. it could be a confidiential issue


3. Commercial Awareness

Name a company that does not perform well in recent years and give 4 reasons.
What can the company do to improve performance?
What are the risks of the solutions you provide?
Senarios: Describe a time you offered excellent customer service.


4. Career Motivation
What research have you done for job application?
What do you know about KPMG?
Why this line of service?
How does this role fit with other departments?
What are you going to do in the first 16 months?



以上就是所有的问题,没有太多的FOLLOW UP QUESTIONS,我相信这是个好事,因为这表示已经在回答中给出了足够多的细节,来展示相关的能力。如果面试官一直问你细节问题,一定是他没能记下来相关的品质要求,就该注意了!!在准备答案的时候注意一定要将答案和五大QUALITY的测试需求衔接起来,不然说的很HIGH一个都没和他们要求的点对上。。
