Just had a campus interview this morning
30 mintues of behaviour
1. Give a situation when you showed your motivation and out performed what
was expected
2. Give an example when you work with a team and things didn't go very well,
why and what would you have done to make it better
3. Give an example when you have to multi-task, how would you handle them
4. Why did you choose consulting and why ZS associates
Then I got about 5 minutes or so to ask him questions
30 minutes of case-study, with another interviewer
Our clients are selling chips and cookies, and we want to send 50 reps to
promote them to retailers nation-wide (suppose they are all at the same
skill level and have no preference of location). Each rep can only take care
of one of the 2 products ( chip or cookie), and can only work in one state.
1_How would you decide where to send them and what to promote.
2_If we sign a contract with the cookie maker, that we must assign 30 reps
to promote cookie, in exchange they will offer lower whole sale price for
their cookies, how would you evaluate the feasibility of the contract, i.e.
how would you decide whether to take the deal or not.
Has anybody worked there? what is it like? It seems like a lot of consultant
ended up leaving for MBA after a while, not sure if that's a good thing or
not... also they keep saying this MBA movement helps them to keep the team
young, does that mean they drive people really hard so only young people can
be physically strong enough to survive? |
