Never before did I realize one year’s work in CMK can change my life so much. But it really did! It empowers me with the business skills and down-to-earth attitude for future endeavors. 1) CMK shapes me into a brand building and strategy consultant. PG is famous for its marketing expertise and CMK trains me into a marketer with the everyday exposure to branding strategy and execution. Here I learned how to leverage consumer/market/shopper insights to lead brand building. When I was in Harvard and Columbia Business School last month, discussing business strategy and marketing topics with professors, I suddenly realized the dramatic change CMK brought to me in merely one year! 2) Feel the passion for achieving everyday. CMK navigates the business and provides solution to the toughest business challenges. Here I can make a real difference in business and see the real changes happen in market. Nothing else can make me feel even prouder than knowing that I am creating huge value for the business. 3) Caring and smart people around me. You couldn’t image how much effort CMK managers contribute to mentor and train me unless you feel it by yourself. Every time my managers help me sharpening the summary and guiding my thinking, I feel shock by both their business insight and caring attitude. They do care my success! This strongly motivates me as I want to become a smart, knowledgeable, and nice person as they are.

Just coming back from 5 years anniversary after graduation, I found out to be luckiest to put pride on my early career instead of having lots of complaints regrets. That’s not saying I’m inoculated from hardships, but I really find my past 5 years in P&G CMK is rewarding. Firstly, working in P&G CMK is indeed something I can put pride on myself. P&G stands for lots of good values, and CMK demonstrate it to the best, that’s why CMK could gain high respect for insisting on hard-right over easy-wrong. Secondly, I really enjoyed fulfilling my curiosity via acquiring new knowledge, skills and capabilities every year. What’s more importantly, my learnings not only benefited myself, but also fueled the team to accomplish business results. I played critical role of navigating P&G’s expansion road to rural market. This proved to be big incremental contribution to Company Avenue, what an exciting exploration! Thirdly, I’m always surrounded by talented colleagues; whose wisdom inspired my thinking, whose talents accelerate my development. Esp. among caring CMKer, I always feel collaboration, trust, and considerate help; which makes working here so adorable!

I've been worked in CMK for 10 years. Every morning I step into the office, I still feel the same excitement and energy as I did 10 years ago. Why? I can name a lot, but I want to pick the most important one: I can grow myself everyday! This is because 1. Exciting work: I feel I face the new challenges and questions everyday, everyday the new challenge and questions become bigger and harder, and it looks like they are talking to me:"hey, beat me, find the answer!" It attracts me to think, to learn and to solve. After that, you not only find the answer, but also find you become much more capable; 2. Caring boss: in the past 10 year, I always feel my bosses really care my development, they understand me, they know me, and they plan for me! Whenever I feel I can handle my work very well, I will be given a more challenging work, or bigger responsibility. 10 years ago, I only handled CMK work for Pampers which is sold in two cities, now I'm in charge of the CMK for total TW/HK P&G who is the biggest FMCG company in both regions. What a change! 3. Great People: One thing I'm very sure in P&G is you are always surrounded by the smartest people, you will be inspired and coached by them everyday, even just some chat during lunch you will learn new things.

I've worked in CMK for about 11 years. In these 11 years I've learned so much and grown up from a very junior manager to the manager of a big team. However, I'm still with full of passion and inspiration everyday.

I'm inspired by the strategic role CMK is playing in business teams. We need to help business team make the right decision based on the solid consumers/shoppers, retailers and market knowledge. We need to understand the future trends of markets, the emerging consumer and shopper needs, and the key business drivers to deliver even stronger business. All these are not easy tasks and I'm still facing the new challenges and learning opportunities everyday. We need to master the fundamental business knowledge and the solid technique of research industries, we need to generate insightful business analysis and paint out the business directions, and we need to engage our business partners to translate these learning into business actions. We are inspired by the robust business result driven by our shopper and market learning, and we are growing our capability as well. No wonder that CMK is assessed as the competitive advantage of P&G.

I'm also inspired by the great team in CMK. We have the very talented managers in CMK, who are eager to learn and eager to win. We help and support each other, no matter we are working on P&G brands or we are working on shoppers/customers, every one learns from each other in this warmest big family.
