The journey with P&G isstill continuing

　　In July 1996, I started my journey withP&G. To be honest, at the same time, I never thought that I could stay with P&G PS for more than 5 years. However, after more than 13 years, I am stillhere till today, with the great feeling of accomplishment, enjoyment,excitement and proud.　　

　　My first assignment was purchasing manager in paper purchases where I started thejourney of learning how to do business. I had the opportunity to attend numerous helpful training courses; travel to most of the places in China andalso overseas; and get to know hundreds of professional individuals with different nationalities and cultural background. In 2001, two years after my promotion to senior purchasing manager, recognizing my growth and maturity, my boss relocated me to Beijing to run the Purchases Organization there. That was a fantastic assignment where I learnt a lot in managing not only the business but also the organization. I returned to Guangzhou in 2004 as the Purchases Leader taking care of both Asia Snacks business and Greater China GBS where Istarted the journey of managing a more than one hundred million USD worth spend and a team of over 30 people spreading across China Mainland, Hongkong, Tainwanand Singapore! Later on I was then moved to Marketing Purchases taking care ofthe Advertising Production Purchases in 2005. While I was still enjoying the journey of dealing with the actress, models, Directors, and advertising production houses. In June of 2007, I was promoted to Associate Director tolead the China Packaging Purchases organization. With 2 years’ learning of how to build up the capability of an organization which manages a huge spend of$300MM, I was assigned with additional responsibility in July 2009 to also manage the GC Hygiene Purchases organization which takes cares of $350MM worthspend-another new exciting journey just started.　　

　　The journeywith P&G is still continuing and I am sure that I do want to continue this journey for another 30 years.
