Hey Guys,
Can't type Chinese at the moment, sry:(
Before the interview, there were around 20 girls for today but was seperated into 2 groups. And only 3 girls are 'Chinese' .
By that I mean they seemed like Chinese by judging the hair color, anyways they must be BBC coz one of those girls had this sexy British accent:) Most of them came from other EU country like Spain and Italy.
Basically there were 2 interviews which were both competency-based. They were quite similar in interview questions but offered by two different interviewers.
First round: 30 min
Interviewer: manager from asset management dep-in charge of relation management. She was really nice and we talked about family and her international experience
Questions: CV-based.
She took a look at my resume and selected one area that she was most interesed in and asked if I could talk about more details;
Then came normal questions : give examples
1) team work skills;
2) how you deal with pressure;
3) what do you do when facing a deadline;
4) take initiatives(same question as Citi)
5) how you motivate your teammate when working in a team;
6) case-study: Volvo plc. said their cars are much more safer than that of other companies becoz the probability of car accidents of people who drive Volvo tend to be lower. Why you think it is a wrong opinion?

Second round: 30 min
Interviewer: Investment banker; From Rome; looked smart and intelligent
Questions: CV-based.
1)Why JPM?
2)Why trading?
3)Same types of questions which you can find on Vault
4)Any questions?
My opinion is to try to get as much experience as you can for applying a Spring.
They make you develop these soft skills which every bank are concerned about.
The interview is all about you.
Make sure you have some great experience to talk about.
They don't expect too many technical skills from a first year undergrad so fluency English is a key point.
Can't remember it all coz there were so many small questions to talk about :P
Good luck to the rest of you!
