ZS Associates Goes International.
In 1983, Andy and Prabha were invited by F company to visit its
European headquarters in Brussels, Belgium. The two entrepreneurs
presented their approaches to solving sales force sizing and
alignment problems to Bob, F Company's then Executive Vice President
for Europe. Bob liked the concepts and sponsored a project in France.
France was an important market for F company, with an especially
demanding and sophisticated management team. Bob told Andy and
Prabha, “If it works in France, it will work anywhere.”
This became ZS’s first European project and the first of
approximately 50 countries in which the firm ultimately assisted
F company.
